Jessie, Maria, and I were just talking about how much we love Dim Sum. It's tasty, affordable, and such a fun thing to do with a group. Golden Unicorn Restaurant in Manhattan's Chinatown is one of my favorite dim sum places - at this huge restaurant, the staff comes around with food on little carts and you ask for what you'd like. $15 -20 will get you so much good food and you'll get to try so many different things, you'll wonder why you ever eat anywhere else.
Join us for an evening of outdoor short movies featured in Sundance Film Festival. Best part is it's free! Bring your dinner to the park and picnic with us on the lawn overlooking Myrtle Ave.
Here's more from FGPC:
"The Sundance Film Festival, a platform for independent filmmakers to showcase their storytelling, remains an essential part for independent film. For the seventh consecutive year, Rooftop Films is excited to team with Sundance to present some of our favorite short films from their most recent edition. Hailing from the next generation of independent filmmakers, these gorgeous documents of athleticism, found-footage send-ups, art world rants, human dramas and surreal animations represent the best of independent shorts and a diverse array of storytelling from around the world."
