Brazilian Music

Miss Favela

Exploring New York highlights cool spots around the city that are worth checking out. What’s your favorite place for good food and live music? Let us know in the comments.

Williamsburg, a must-stop while in NYC, is home to a particularly energetic place. Samba, caipirinhas, feijoada and great vibes are Miss Favela’s offer to locals and visitors. A real taste of Brazil!

Miss Favela is a cozy restaurant inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s bars concept. It offers a great cuisine selection, Brazilian common drinks and beer, and a vibrant environment.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and by 3 pm the place was already full, so, if you are going on a Saturday, you may want to consider arriving a little early to grab a seat.

This spot is for everyone, there were families having lunch, couples having a drink or cup of coffee, friends celebrating birthdays (us!) and even though every seat was taken, more and more people kept coming in!

So if you’re you looking forward to a warm, relaxed, and cheerful evening… go check out Miss Favela and dance the day away to the sound of live Samba music!
